    Arrive Venice

    Arrive in Venice and transfer by private launch to your hotel. You will have time to relax, or you can enjoy your first taste of the labyrinth of waterways and architectural bridges. This evening, toast the end of your day with a tour of the best bacari wine bars. Join the locals for a traditional ombra de vin and allow our food and wine connoisseur to accompany you. Sample local delicacies from ciccheti to crostini.

    Venice

    Today, explore the fascinating but lesser-known side of Venice. On your way to the San Polo District, stop at the magnificent Rialto Bridge, completed in 1591 and the oldest of four that span the Grand Canal. Continue to the Scuola of Saint Rocco, a powerful confraternity decorated by artist Jacopo Tintoretto. Just around the corner, visit the Frari church – home to many treasures including Titian's early altarpieces and a true masterpiece by Giovanni Bellini.

    Today, explore the islands within this famous lagoon. Along with your local guide, enjoy the beauty of a ride across the waters aboard your private motor launch, stopping off at Burano, a colourful fishing island famous for its lace and charming architecture. Cruise on to the island of Murano, where glass has been made for over 700 years and where you can see the age-old techniques of glassblowing still in use today.

    Venice - Istria, Croatia

    After breakfast depart and transfer to Meneghetti Wine Hotel & Winery set within the Croatian countryside. En-route enjoy a short stop in Rovinj known as the architectural jewel of the Istrian peninsula. It is surrounded by an archipelago of 19 tiny islands. Spend some time strolling around the town’s colourful streets before relaxing at the Relais & Châteaux property. This evening sample the local wine and olive oil over dinner at the hotel.

    Pula Sightseeing

    Today, join your driver who will take you to see the wealth of Roman monuments at Pula which lies on the Adriatic coast. Enjoy a few hours to take in the main sights. The star of the show is the well-preserved Roman amphitheatre which lies in the heart of this bustling city. You will also have plenty of time to see the Temple of Augustus and the Gate of Hercules.

    Istria

    Today, you can try truffle hunting with an experienced and trained truffle hunter and their dogs. During the day discover the special techniques used to search for these mysterious, highly valued, mushrooms that hide in the soil of the Istrian forests. Round off your day with a wine pairing dinner at the hotel which serves the finest meats, fish, and truffles.
