About Alda Hotel Reykjavik
With immediate access onto the main shopping street of Laugavegur, you might not spend that much time inside, but the Alda Hotel is an excellent base for your trip to Reykjavík. There are restaurants, cafés and museums in the neighbourhood and the hotel’s concierge service will happily advise on the hot spots and unmissable sights of the city.
With 88 rooms, the hotel has all the amenities you would hope for and some of the rooms have water views. You can also enjoy time in the on-site small fitness room, outdoor hot tub and the option of massages in your room.
Of an evening, most guests will find themselves in The Barber Bar, which features a real barber and offers a great selection of drinks, before heading to the hotel’s restaurant, serving traditional Icelandic and international cuisine.
Don’t leave without a trip to the chocolate store and tasting the homemade treats to take as gifts for friends and family back home.
