    UK - Amalfi Coast

    Upon arrival at the Amalfi Coast, you’ll be met by a member of our team and driven to the Palazzo Avino. The hotel is a 12th Century villa and boasts a private beach club to enjoy the stunning views. It’s your home for the next four nights.

    Sorrentine Peninsula

    Today, you’ll be hopping onboard a vintage Vespa to tour the breath-taking coastal road around the Sorrentine Peninsula. Your tour begins and ends in the beautiful town of Sorrento, which enjoys views of the Isle of Capri and Vesuvius. Follow your expert guide along the coastal roads and visit picturesque town’s including Postiano, renowned for its colourful houses teetering on the cliff edge. During the day you’ll stop for a cappuccino and pastry in a café with panoramic views of the Mediterranean and sample the local liqueur at a limoncello factory.

    Ravello

    Learn the secrets of traditional Italian cuisine from chef-to-the-stars Mamma Agata, who has cooked her pasta dishes for the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Jacqueline Kennedy. Join Mamma Agata in her private home, Hidden Treasure, in Ravello high on a cliff-top overlooking the Amalfi Coast for a group three-hour cooking course. Start the day by picking your fresh ingredients from her garden before learning to make such delicacies such as eggplant parmigiana; rigatoni with Bolognese sauce; and Mamma Agata’s chicken with lemon. Sample your dishes, which will be complemented with local wine, over lunch on the sea-view terrace.

    Pompeii

    Today, you’ll visit the ruins of the once-opulent town of Pompeii, which gives a rich insight into life at the time of the Roman Empire. Lying in the shadow of Mount Vesuvius, it was buried under pumice stone during the catastrophic eruption in AD 79. Here you’ll find a unique window to the past. Step back in time with a tour of this well-preserved archaeological site. Walk down Roman streets, see the amphitheatres, thermal baths, temples, millennia-old houses and shops plus the statues of people frozen in time.
