About Forte Village Resort
Widely regarded as one of Europe’s best family resorts, Forte Village is a collection of hotels and private villas in one stunning location on Sardinia’s sunny southern coast. An air of relaxed, casual friendliness permeates the resort, allowing you to kick back and enjoy your holiday. Each of the accommodation options has its own personality, with elegant bungalows, suites and villas and up to 21 restaurants in high season and activities for all ages and interests.
Le Dune, with its new sea view pool, is an elegant collection of bungalows and suites occupying a privileged position close to the sea. Its sumptuous gardens create a tropical paradise and it’s blissfully quiet yet located ideally close to the resort’s main facilities. Il Borgo is ideal for large families with its spacious bungalows which include lounges as well as patios and balconies, and it’s close to the Children’s Club in Children's Wonderland and pools. Hotel Castello has a private and exclusive feel just metres from the sea, with rooms and suites offering spectacular views from one of the most private corners of the resort.
The resort is perfect for families: set in 47 hectares of lavish gardens, there’s plenty of space to roam and transport is only by golf buggy or bike, allowing children to play freely without the worry of traffic. There are three swimming pools, as well as tennis, go-karting, cycling, golf nearby and a heavenly spa on offer. The sandy beach edges the warm clear waters where the rock-free seabed and coastal winds are a dream for budding sailors and water sports enthusiasts. In the heart of the village the Piazza Maria Luigia hosts nightly events, and all guests have at least four restaurants where they can dine with no supplement including: dining under the trees at Pineta restaurant, the traditional Sardinian cuisine of Restaurant Sardo, the amazing grilled meats at the Brazilian restaurant, and the delicious steaks of Forte Grill. Sought after restaurants where pre-booking is necessary and a supplement is payable include Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen and La Terrazza San Domenico, Rocco Iannone Belvedere.
Forte Village is home to SuperSkills Academies, which offers world-class coaching in sports such as netball and rugby. The academies are open to all children aged 5 - 16 years and take place every weekday morning. Boys and girls of all abilities are welcome; the children are grouped according to age and ability and the training is adapted by the experienced coaches to suit the needs of those taking part. Some of the biggest names in sport are behind SuperSkills, including co-founders Will Greenwood and Austin Healey, assisted by several of their RFU luminaries, all who love to get involved in the overall experience, not just the coaching academies. From the welcome drinks on the first evening to the mid-week 'Dads v Legends' matches, the daily personal training sessions for parents keen to keep in shape, the dive-bombing competitions in the pool, to the final night awards celebrations, the aim is to provide a legendary holiday experience for every member of the family.
