Hotel Castello has a private and exclusive feel just metres from the sea, with rooms and suites offering spectacular views from one of the most private corners of the resort.
The resort is perfect for families: set in 47 hectares of lavish gardens, there’s plenty of space to roam and transport is only by golf buggy or bike, allowing children to play freely without the worry of traffic. There are a variety of swimming pools, as well as tennis, go-karting, cycling, golf nearby and a heavenly spa on offer. The sandy beach edges the warm clear waters where the rock-free seabed and coastal winds are a dream for budding sailors and water sports enthusiasts.
Forte Village offers guests a chance to tour the world by savouring gastronomic delights from Sardinia, Italy and the international world of haute cuisine. Over 80 passionate chefs oversee up to 21 different restaurants in high season, plus exceptional gastronomic evenings hosted by visiting Michelin star chefs. At least four restaurants are included in the half board for dinner. We love Pineta, a deliciously varied buffet set under the pine trees, Cavalieri BBQ grill with Italian and Sardinian specialities, local charcuterie, fresh pasta, meat and fish dishes (supplement payable) and Le Dune, a stylish a la carte restaurant with a modern take on Italian cuisine, overlooking the Mediterranean sea (supplement payable).
Forte Village is home to Our Legend Academies, which offers world-class coaching in sports such as netball and rugby. The academies are open to all children aged 5 - 16 years and take place every weekday morning. Boys and girls of all abilities are welcome; the children are grouped according to age and ability and the training is adapted by the experienced coaches to suit the needs of those taking part. Some of the biggest names in sport are behind Our Legend, including co-founders Will Greenwood and Austin Healey, assisted by several of their RFU luminaries, all who love to get involved in the overall experience, not just the coaching academies. From the welcome drinks on the first evening to the mid-week 'Dads v Legends' matches, the daily personal training sessions for parents keen to keep in shape, the dive-bombing competitions in the pool, to the final night awards celebrations, the aim is to provide a legendary holiday experience for every member of the family.
