Le Dumont-d’Urville belongs to a new generation of ships aptly named for their voyages of exploration. During your trip you can expect nautical adventures by day and a touch of luxury at night in the 92 staterooms and suites.

The ship is designed to be environmentally friendly, and features lounges that are open to the sea breeze, an elegant outdoor swimming pool and multisensorial underwater lounge. Embark via a hydraulic platform which is also used by the Zodiacs during expeditions while at sea. A warm welcome awaits from a French crew who are proud to focus on the finest cuisine.

Each of the chic staterooms and suites are a fusion of refined sophistication with pop of colour. Private balconies give you the luxury of space to enjoy the spectacular seascape at your leisure.

The heated seawater pool, which features a counter current, is on the third deck and offers the ultimate infinity experience as the blue water seamlessly merges with the horizon. Watch the world go by from one of the sofas on the sun deck before a visit to the spa.

The Blue Eye is a multi-sensory lounge located below the waterline. You will be taken on a nautical journey of discovery along the seabed thanks to its cutting-edge digital screens, hydrophones and ‘body listening’ sofas. The theatre has cutting-edge lighting and sound technology, perfect for on-board lectures.

An essential part of a cruise on Le Dumont-d’Urville is a nod to French culture in the form of its gastronomy.  The chefs create a sublime menu and share their passion for local produce infusing their dishes with ingredients collected during stopovers.

Le Nautilus restaurant is large enough to accommodate all passengers at one sitting. The space is open to the sea breeze and serves a buffet of salads, desserts, and cheeses. A table service is provided for hot meals. Below on deck three, enjoy lunch or dinner in the Grill Restaurant which has a view out over the pool deck.

Bon voyage.
