    Explore atmospheric Alhambra

    Take a day trip to explore Granada and its star attraction, the Alhambra palace. As well as a spiritual destination, it’s also heart-stoppingly beautiful with jewel-like interiors that are no short of dazzling, as well as epic courtyards, gold inlay ceilings, graceful archways and labyrinthine gardens. A guide can help you discover this palace-fortress with a story or two about the Nasrid Sultans, the last of the Arab dynasties.

    Flamenco in Seville

    A trip to Seville would not be complete without watching a flamenco show. A transfer will take you to Tablao El Arenal, a 17th-century tavern where you can watch the most authentic performance in the city. Enjoy wine and bucket loads of Carmen-style drama – sensual turns, twists and staccato flicks accompanied by passionate singing and palmas (rhythmic handclapping). Pick on tapas or eat on Spanish time – we can book you dinner afterwards in one of Seville’s top restaurants.

    Sip sherry in Jerez

    Enjoy a full-day excursion to Jerez and Arcos de la Frontera – a dramatically-positioned village on top of a limestone cliff. Climb the steep streets to the Moorish castle and a splendid square with views of the town and rolling plain below. Then it’s onto Jerez de la Frontera for some sherry and brandy tasting. Explore the casco antiguo or old town with its 11th-century fortress. After the culture, it’s time to sample the area’s world-famous dry ‘fino’ wine after a guided tour of one of the many sherry bodegas.
