Highlights

Scottish Whisky and Golf

Tee-off on some of Scotland’s famous and most challenging golf courses, from the location of the Ryder Cup to the Carnoustie Championship Course. Enjoy the Old Course Experience that comes with driving range privileges and dinner perks, everything packaged together for a luxury hole-in-one experience. Visit the widest whisky selection in Edinburgh and, better yet, sample the very best with the help of a senior whisky ambassador. Discover Scotland’s perfect pairing.

Arrive Edinburgh, Scotland

Your first day is spent relaxing after your travels, enjoying the many luxury amenities of The Balmoral Hotel. The first thing you’ll notice about it is the clock tower that’s never on time, and the first thing you may enjoy is the widest whisky selection in Edinburgh at their bar ‘Scotch’, with over 400 to try.

Edinburgh – St. Andrews

Take the morning to explore the capital city, visiting the Old Town and touring around the Edinburgh Castle. Then, drive to St. Andrews ready for your Old Course Experience, starting with two rounds of golf. This experience includes various driving range privileges and food and drink benefits, to make your stay as memorable as possible.

St. Andrews

A tee time will be arranged for you on the Kingsbarns course. Kingsbarns is a traditional links course and more than half the holes view the sea directly in the golfer’s active frame of play.

St. Andrews

Continue your time in St. Andrews with a round of golf at the world-famous Old Course. The Swilcan Bridge and Hell Bunker are recognised across the globe.

St. Andrews – Auchterader

It’s time to bid farewell to St. Andrews. However, before you leave enjoy the last round of golf on the Jubilee course, and enjoy a stroll around the quaint town, visiting the antique stores and ruins of the castle and cathedral. In the afternoon, drive to Perthshire where you will check-in to Gleaneagles Resort.

Auchterader

Today you can enjoy the many facilities on offer at Gleneagles. Did you know it is home to the British School of Falconry? Included in your stay is also a private whisky masterclass in the hotel’s exclusive cellar, hosted by their senior whisky ambassador. Slàinte mhath!

Auchterader

A tee time will be arranged for you on Gleneagles’ famous PGA course. Host to both the Ryder and Solheim Cups, this is a stern course in a fabulous setting. Each tee offers views over the Ochil hills.

Depart Auchterader

Return home with your scorecards and try not to boast too much to your friends and family.
