    UK – Dubai

    We’ll meet you at Dubai airport and transfer you to the wonderful Four Seasons at Jumeriah Beach for your three-night stay. Set on a private section of pristine, white sand, the Four Seasons at Jumeirah Beach enjoys an enviable beachfront position yet is less than 20 minutes from the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. Dusky pink, low-rise buildings blend perfectly with the colourful gardens that are filled with flowers and birdsong.

    After a delicious breakfast, explore the hotel and its beautiful grounds. Choose from a game of tennis on the professional courts, a dip in one of the three swimming pools or lunch at beachside restaurant Sea Fu, serving Mediterranean and Asian dishes, or Mercury, a rooftop bar with jaw-dropping views over the city. Outside the hotel, you can visit Burj Khalifa and its record-breaking TopSKY observation deck, offering unrivalled views over the Persian Gulf. Test your balance on a snowboard at the impressive indoor snowdome, or head into the desert and explore the sun-scorched sand dunes on a 4x4 excursion.

    Dubai – Male

    Leave the city lights behind and fly to Male to begin your Maldives island escape. Check in to the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa, just a 30-minute speedboat ride from the airport. A picture of paradise, the resort has a charming Maldivian village feel and sits on its own private coral island surrounded by turquoise ocean. Palm-thatched pavilions and bungalows line the soft white sand or sit on stilts above the water. Enjoy the resort’s colourful gardens, relax on the beach or visit the interactive Marine Discovery Centre with its wealth of family activities, including surfing, shark safaris and dolphin cruises.

    You’ll find some of the best waves in the world just a few minutes from where you’re staying. The resort’s surf school, run exclusively for Four Seasons by Tropicsurf, offers certified courses for beginners as well as escorted excursions for more experienced surfers. The waters around Kuda Huraa are home to countless species of fish, invertebrate and mammal, including a healthy population of dolphin. Following an informative talk by a marine biologist, you’ll board a speedboat and head out into the sunset as schools of inquisitive dolphin jump and play around you.

    Male – Landaa Giravaaru

    Your next destination is the private island of Landaa Giravaaru and the elegant Four Seasons Resort Maldives. Fringed by a spectacular turquoise lagoon and powder-soft, white-sand beaches, this 44-acre private island is home to some of the most wildlife-rich waters in the Maldives. Don your snorkel and swim out into the pristine lagoon for breath-taking encounters with turtle, dolphin, eagle ray, manta ray and juvenile lemon-shark - sights normally reserved for scuba divers at depth. Indulge in a treatment at the multi-award winning spa and Ayurvedic retreat, followed by a delicious teppanyaki, Lebanese mezze or tandoori at one of the resort’s restaurants.

    Spend time exploring the Four Season's Marine Research Centre, which runs pioneering conservation projects on whale sharks, fish breeding and coral reefscaping. It also supports the only full-time manta ray research project in the Maldives. Children will enjoy learning about the fragile yet breath-taking ecosystem of the Maldives with resident marine biologists at the kids' club. Or you can set sail on a dhoni – an authentic Maldivian boat – at sunset for a romantic cruise (complete with Champagne and canapés). Try your hand at fishing and learn traditional bottom-line fishing techniques. Back at the resort, the chefs will prepare your catch for dinner.
