Each of the four spacious cottages at the Flame of the Forest Safari Lodge overlooks the river and forest beyond. With a private courtyard, outdoor shower and personal deck, the focus at the property is on your natural surroundings. The cottages are beautifully decorated using local fabrics and Indian influences, with each one affording an outside day bed that is perfect for an afternoon's siesta or a night under the stars. Jeep safaris into nearby Kanha National Park with your naturalist guide are the best way to start your day. Later on, the lodge camp fire is the perfect place to share stories with fellow guests before enjoying a lantern lit dinner cooked using locally sourced ingredients. Products created by local women as part of the resort's HATHI social enterprise campaign are available to buy.
