About The Rainforest Ecolodge
Rainforest Eco Lodge is made of 16 comfortable chalets, cleverly designed from two and a half recycled shipping containers. The design is simple and effective, with bamboo paneling and large windows looking out onto the forest canopy and tea estate. Dining is a celebration of Sri Lankan cuisine created by a team of expert chefs with merging organically grown fresh local ingredients.
The Sinharaja Forest offers you the perfect place to get back to nature. There are a number of nature trails to enjoy through the Tea Estate and forest discover different species of colourful butterflies and beautiful waterfalls. For the more adventurous take a full day trek can be arranged to experience the tranquil wilderness of this immense rain forest.
