South Pole and Summiting History

True to the soul of authentic adventure, on this pioneering Inspiring Expedition, a small group explored Antarctica. Whilst discovering the most remote and spectacular land on our planet, they enjoyed viewing the extraordinary wildlife that live in this incredible region. In December 2018, from an expedition base camp comprised of luxury space-age pods nestled on the edge of the continent, the group visited one of the largest Emperor penguin colonies; explored ice caves and climbed to the summit of a virgin mountain in the Drygalski mountain range, earning the right to name it. The crowning achievement – standing at the ceremonial and geographic South Poles.

Northern Lights and Soul of the Arctic

The northern lights have mystified since time immemorial. Geoffrey Kent had spent decades adventuring around the globe, but the aurora borealis had always eluded him. So, it was around their entrancing displays that this Inspiring Expedition was created. A small group journeyed to Finnish Lapland for five days in March 2018 on an adventure into the very heart of the Arctic Circle. From a remote Wilderness Lodge, this group chased the lights by night, and by day, enjoyed ice-rally car racing, safaris by snowmobile, dog sled and reindeer sleighs, winter survival skills lessons, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and rare, authentic and privileged interaction with Sami nomads, Shamans and their reindeer.

Treasures of Palau

In November 2016, a small group spent a week onboard the exclusively chartered superyacht Saluzi exploring the treasures of Palau. An archipelago of hundreds of islands, The Republic of Palau is dubbed ‘the underwater Serengeti’. The group dived and snorkelled at Ulong Sandbar, the Big Drop Off and Shark City amid countless marine life. They toured the World War II battlefields of Peleliu Island and fished for marlin and mahi-mahi in the German Channel and famed Blue Corner. By special permission, they experienced exclusive access to Seventy Islands, a World Heritage Site closed to visitors since 1956.
