Are you just about to complete your degree, or have recently completed your degree, and have a passion for travel?

We want to hear from you as we run a successful graduate programme within our UK Tour Operating Company (TOC) based in London and Cheltenham.

What to expect

When you enrol on the graduate programme at Abercrombie & Kent you will have the opportunity to work with our experienced teams in both offices. This will help you gain an understanding of our products and destinations. You will learn about our tailor-made holidays, group tours along with beach and villa breaks.

There is also an opportunity to spend time with our exclusive Private Clients team at our Harrods boutique. This will give you a flavour of how we help our most elite clients. On occasion, you will travel between the offices to gain a well-rounded understanding of our business.

You will gain experience on how to sell both A&K and Cox & Kings branded products and what makes each brand so unique.

During the programme, you will work alongside fellow graduates on a key project focused on innovation and driving the business forward.  You’ll create a proposal, business plan and present these to the executive team.

Joining our graduate programme will make you a permanent member of the A&K family. On completion, you will be able to select the most appropriate role for you based on your interests and experience gained throughout your time with us.

Requirements

We’re searching for people with a passion for travel and experience within a service environment. You do not need to have travelled the world yourself, but a serious case of wanderlust is essential as well as an understanding of what good customer service really means.

Location: Cheltenham or London

“I started at A&K just over five years ago from a graduate intake.  I began as a Latin America sales consultant and managed to be regularly promoted until now becoming the team leader for Latin America, Australasia, Luxury Expedition Cruises (LEC) and North America. 

"I had no background in sales and had only backpacked around Latin America. My time at A&K started well with a comprehensive training schedule with the other graduates which included learning about the product we sell, how the company works and all the booking and flight systems.

"Since then, I was able to enjoy bonuses and some great holidays.  I have been lucky enough to visit Antarctica, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador & Galápagos, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and South Africa - all on work trips.”
