UK - Johannesburg

An overnight flight will take you from the UK to Johannesburg.

Johannesburg - Chobe National Park

Arriving in Johannesburg, you’ll take a short flight to Kasane to meet your Botswana Under Canvas safari guide. You’ll spend the first two nights in an exclusive camp in Chobe National Park. Spacious dome tents, en suite bathrooms and refreshing bucket showers await you. While there’s no electricity on this authentic African safari, rest assured that your cameras can be charged in the safari vehicle.

Chobe National Park

Home to one of the largest concentrations of elephant in Africa, Chobe National Park is your chance to get up close to these majestic beasts. Your guide will take you on game drives and private boat cruises on the Chobe River, where you can watch wild crocodile and hippo as you glide by.

Savute

Days four and five include game drives in the beautiful Savute region of the Chobe National Park. Surrounded by wilderness you’ll spend two nights in spacious Meru-style tents. Your guide will lead a safari to see prides of lion, leaps of leopard and packs of spotted hyena prowling the plains in search of prey. Other highlights include the stark landscapes of volcanic outcrops that are adorned with bushmen’s expressive paintings, so be sure to charge your camera.

Moremi

Leaving Savute, you'll fly to the Okavango Delta for two nights. It is the sheer variety of wildlife, and their numbers, that overwhelms you in the celebrated Moremi Game Reserve. The Okavango Delta is a private concession on the banks of a seasonal waterway and it offers some of Botswana’s best wildlife encounters. Here you can head out on safari by foot, and your bush walk can include sightings of lion and lechwe (wild antelope).

Okavango Delta

The final leg of your journey takes you by flight to the famous Nxabega concession for your final two nights. Adventurous game drives, daring bush walks and thrilling mokoro (canoe) rides await you, as well as catch-and-release fishing. These water-based activities are seasonal, so be sure to check with your A&K specialist to see what options are available before booking.

Okavango Delta - Maun - Johannesburg - UK

On your last day in Botswana you’ll leave the Okavango Delta and fly via Maun to Johannesburg. Here, you’ll connect with your overnight flight back to the UK.

Johannesburg - UK

With memories of your Botswana Under Canvas safari adventure fresh in your mind, you’ll arrive back in the UK in the early morning.
