About Sofitel Winter Palace
The Winter Palace was built in 1886, within a tropical garden on the banks of the Nile. The hotel has a central location, just minutes from the Luxor Temple. The age of the building gives it a magical atmosphere, whilst modern decor creates a comfortable feel. Stay in the historic main buildings, which are packed with colonial charm in the form of fine woods and materials. There are 86 rooms and 6 suites, which range in size and in terms of facilities. Many of the rooms have a view of either the garden or Nile.
