Meet the guide

Cameron Pearce grew up in the cultural melting pot of Johannesburg. After studying business management, he realised he was seeking a life full of adventure rather than a life in an office. The wild reserves of Africa were beckoning. He spent years honing his skills as a qualified field guide in the likes of Lion Sands, Sabi Sabi and Tswalu Kalahari, before joining the A&K Southern Africa team. As well as leading bespoke safari tours, Cameron enjoys giving back by training young guides and helping conservation charities. Cultural guiding has become a major part of his life, and he enjoys sharing the more complex side of Africa with visitors to this great continent. His other interests include birding, tracking, scuba diving and aviation.
