Meet the guide

Russell Gerber was born and raised in the Eastern Cape. His deep passion for nature and the environment inspired him to study zoology and ichthyology at university, followed by a post-graduate degree in marine biology. Equipped with this extensive knowledge, he has lead marine and land safaris everywhere from South Africa and Botswana to Thailand and the Bahamas. Working as a guide on and off for more than 10 years, Russell has developed a remarkable understanding of the African bush, and loves to share his knowledge and passion with clients.
