Let’s start as we mean to go on: with a flight to stylish, beautiful Auckland.
We’ll be there to meet you as you touch down and there’s nowhere finer to head for in the City of Sails than the Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour Hotel.
On a half day tour of Auckland you can visit the scenic waterfront, be transported back in time at the Victorian village of Parnell and enjoy the panoramic views of the city from the top of Mount Eden. Alternatively, you could jump in that helicopter and take to the skies on a private tour of Waiheke Island. There’s a community of artists here and some rather fine wines to taste.
Drive or fly by helicopter to the Bay of Islands, it’s your choice. Either way, we’ll make sure you get there in absolute comfort. You'll be staying at The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs, a dreamy 5-star hotel overlooking Matauri Bay. Set in rolling farmland, The Lodge is perfect for some serious pampering at its spa or a round of golf on the clifftop course.
Enjoy a scenic flight up to the Cape Reinga region to explore Northland's harbours. Whip out your camera and capture the beautiful beaches along the way, including the famous Ninety Mile Beach. At Cape Reinga your guide will show you the landmarks of the region including the picturesque Cape Reinga Lighthouse, Tapotupotu Bay and the giant dunes of Te Paki Stream.
We’ll drive you to Kerikeri Airport today for your flight to Rotorua. In the geothermal wonderland you’ll be staying in Huka Lodge.
Climb aboard a helicopter and fly to White Island to see New Zealand's most active volcano, Mount Tarawera. You’ll take a guided walk around the crater of the 1,111m high volcano. Next, we’ll fly you over the Pacific Ocean where you should keep your eyes peeled for dolphins. You’ll come back down to earth in Rotorua, New Zealand’s adventure playground. Here, you’ll experience the boiling mud and magnificent spouting geysers of the Te Puia Thermal Reserve.
It’s time to fly to Blenheim on the South Island where you'll be taken by boat to the Bay of Many Coves, an adventurer's paradise nestled deep in the Marlborough Sounds. Over the next two days you can choose from kayaking, fishing, swimming with dolphins, wine tours, eco cruising, bird watching and even a natural light show in a cave courtesy of glowworms.
Spectacular Blanket Bay Lodge awaits you after a flight down to Queenstown. Overlooking a glittering turquoise lake and surrounded by mountains, Blanket Bay Lodge is a luxury hotel combining sumptuous accommodation with natural beauty and outdoor adventure. Situated on the banks of Lake Waikapitu in 10,000 acres of farmland, it’s the perfect place from which to enjoy all the region has to offer.
Weather permitting, it’s time to take a helicopter and experience the World Heritage-listed Milford Sound. You’ll fly over alpine lakes and verdant rainforest, through bush-fringed valleys and past rugged mountain peaks. Stand among the ancient ice flows of the Fjordland Glaciers and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch here before flying on to Glenorchy for a Dart River Wilderness Safari and an exhilarating jet boat ride up the river.
Having seen the best of New Zealand’s natural splendour, it’s time to head home. We’ll drive you to the airport today for your onward flight with great memories of majestic glaciers, impressive volcanoes and beautiful fjords.
