About Little Ruckomechi
Little Ruckomechi is a wonderfully scenic base offering privileged access to Mana Pools National Park. Three luxury en-suit tents are set on wooden decks overlooking the lower Zambezi River in one of the continent’s top safari destinations. Accommodations come with a dining room, lounge and plunge pool. Spend relaxed mornings and evenings spotting the rare birds and marine mammals which inhabit the river.
The annual floods fill the surrounding pools with water. When many of these disappear during the dry season, larger game concentrate around remaining water sources. This is an excellent opportunity to sight elephant, zebra and buffalo, as well as predators such as lion, leopard and rare African wild dog.
To enhance game-viewing, a range of safari experiences are offered. Enjoy game drives and nature walks with experienced guides. Additional water-based activities include fishing trips, stealthy canoe excursions, and morning and evening river cruises.
