UK - Rio

Fly direct from London to Rio then arrive at your hotel overlooking Copacabana beach, the perfect location from which to explore the city. Rio is a delightful assault on the senses. It’s a colourful, rhythmic city with many vibrant districts to be explored.

Rio

Spend the morning exploring Santa Teresa, one of the city’s oldest bohemian districts, at your own pace. In the afternoon, your guide will accompany you on a cable car ride to Sugarloaf Mountain. Here you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the vibrant city and Guanabara Bay sprawling below. For an even bigger impact, take a helicopter ride over the city.

Rio

You have another full day in wonderful Rio. In the morning, visit the towering Corcovado Mountain to see the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue. From this vantage point, you’ll understand why Rio is called the Cidade Maravilhosa (marvellous city). Colourful neighbourhoods and palm-lined beaches make this a truly spectacular view. Discover more wonder as you explore Tijuca, the world's largest urban rainforest.

Rio - Pantanal

Fly to Sao Paulo then to Cuiaba in the heart of the Pantanal, a vast and luxuriant wetland area with an abundance of wildlife. Here you can admire beautiful colonial architecture around the city’s main square, flitting in and out of colourful boutiques. Cuiaba is a lively place with a vibrant and burgeoning dining scene. Explore culinary delights and an evening filled with the rhythm of Samba.

Pantanal

Enjoy two full days exploring this magnificent region on foot, horseback or even canoe. Lookout for capybara, blue macaws, anaconda and jaguar. Birdlife also thrives in this vast wetland. Birds of prey can be seen at close quarters, while caiman and egrets line each pond. You may also see families of river otters munching on their fresh fish breakfast or a rare puma stalking a capybara on the riverbank.

Pantanal - Manaus

Next you fly north to Manaus, the gateway to the Amazon. A fascinating city, Manaus is a gritty, bustling slice of urbanity in the middle of the dense jungle. Here you can explore the leafy zoo, which has as many animals out of cages as in them. And there are several museums and shops to wander around in the busy city centre.

Amazon

Spend the next two days discovering the world's largest river archipelago, comprised of huge swathes of untouched rainforest. Here you’ll find over 400 islands, numerous lakes and endless riverbanks, all home to an abundance of wildlife. Explore the dense forest and river on guided excursions by foot and by canoe and spot a myriad of fascinating creatures and rare, colourful plants.

Amazon - Praia do Forte

This morning fly to Bahia's Coconut Coast. You’ll arrive in Praia do Forte to a relaxing vibe and incredibly picturesque surroundings. This attractive beach village is overflowing with stylish restaurants and shops, which you can spend your afternoon exploring at your leisure.

Praia do Forte

Relax amongst the coconut groves and natural sea pools of Tivoli Eco-Resort, a thoughtfully designed hotel offering a vast array of activities and facilities for all ages. Just a short stroll down the beach, and well worth a visit, is the interesting Tamar Turtle Project. After you’ve spotted sea-turtles in the reserve, meander back up the palm-lined beach and enjoy the sparkling white sand and clear turquoise waters.

Praia do Forte - London

Fly south for your connecting overnight flight to London, full of stories of incredible wildlife and extreme natural beauty.
